They give mad props to De La Soul and a slew of other main characters and groups and bands and you name it. Houston, H-Town, gets all the glory. Slick Rick did and said it best with the title Hey Young World. How incredibly accurate and factually point on.....
WPI's entire essence moves in and out on the premise that music is the end all and be all to the human core and soul. KRS-1, The Stone Roses, The Ocean Blue, Tribe Called Quest, The Cure, Siouxsie and The Banshees, PE, Eric B. and Rahkim, Shelleyan Orphan, Jungle Brothers, Fishbone, Living Colour, Bad Brains, Mazzy Star, 10,000 Maniacs, Depeche Mode, Son of Bizerk, and a plethora of other artists and bands and groups consistently proves their disposition. How does one take where they were, where they've been, and where they are now and mesh it into something relatable and understandable to even the simpliest of mind? Why do any of us do what it is that we do? Why does life move in this array of repeatedness and sketchiness and trueness that we who live can never truly comprehend? The songs keep writing themselves, the bands keep spewing out the chords, and the fans keep their ears perpetually open with their heart's backing of the soul.
