Earnings calls, research reports, testing, trading, conference calls, financial forums, analyst meetings, talking to business owners, talking to CEOs, digging into financials, and reviewing charts. Even with all that data, time, and effort, there is no way to predict unforeseen events like COVID, war, and swift market declines. At the end of the day, we must maintain discipline and patience and educate our clients on the same. Panic has yet to reward anyone and overreacting to principal loss may feel like a heroic move, but ends very badly. We remain focused and calm in the midst of this storm as it too will pass.
