Been obsessed with the duo band, Purity Ring, since I heard Stardew last November & will be seeing them LIVE THIS November for their tour of Womb. Thought I'd look up & share some history about the band. Purity Ring's witch house, dream-pop, trip-hop, "future pop," (as they describe themselves) music is anything but religious. Religiously amazing dedication perhaps. Each song is flawless, lyrics taken from vocalist Megan James's own diary entries. Empowering to the core. "Gory" and "provocative" to some but ruthlessly and beautifully delivered through Corrin Roddick's electro-beats & his own hand made instrument concoction, both wearing clothes hand-sweb by Megan on live shows, with lighting also perfected to create the most existentialist fantastical vibe possible. Needless to say, I'm eager for this show. The music itself...is a must listen. Enjoy these whispers & I hope you drift off to sleep 😌❤
