- LSU is finally able to put their focus solely on the 2021 class after taking a little bit longer to finish the roster for this season. They were able to get a commitment out of three-star guard, Brandon Murray, who gives them a very impressive shot maker in the backcourt.
- The Volunteers and Rick Barnes get a huge commitment from five-star point guard, Kennedy Chandler. He will be attending Sunrise Christian in Kansas this season (originally from Memphis). He gives Tennessee a guard who can creator for himself as well as others due to his ball handling ability. Where he needs to improve is the consistency of his jump shot. This is the Volunteers first commitment for the 2021 recruiting class.
- One of the very best point guards found along the west coast, KJ Simpson from Chaminade HS in West Hills has found his college home. The four-star guard committed to Arizona on Saturday, giving the Wildcats a complete perimeter asset on both ends of the floor.
- Already sitting with two commitments in the 2021 class, Texas made another move towards finalizing its roster for many years. Four star forward David Joplin gave his verbal commitment to the Longhorns on Sunday. The Longhorns hold the commitments of three star Keeyan Itejere and four star Emarion Ellis as well.
- After a big breakout over the summer, three-star and 6’6 Small Forward, Sean Durugordon has cut his list to eight schools. His list includes Arizona St, Auburn, DePaul, Georgia, Hofstra, Missouri, Seton Hall and VCU.
- University of Georgia has offered 2021 guard, Trey Alexander - Heritage Hall, out of Oklahoma.
