Svalbard, an independent country a few decades ago is now a Norwegian archipelago between Norway and the North Pole. One of the world’s northernmost inhabited areas, it's known for its rugged, remote terrain of glaciers and frozen tundra sheltering polar bears, Svalbard reindeer and Arctic foxes. The Northern Lights are visible during winter, and summer brings the “midnight sun” - sunlight 24 hours a day.
If you had heard about this place your are surely one of the very few like the husband-wife couple of Nitesh & Reshma. Their affinity for cold remote places and their intrepid traveling characteristic took them here to explore it for themselves.
Nitesh Saxena & Reshma Arora are both passionate travelers. They are the perfect example of how a traveling couple should be. They work as corporate executives in a large multinational company, earning a living. But, they are actually living, a life that they love through their adventures and travels. While the last year of Covid-19 pandemic was a downer for travel but it didn’t hamper their spirits as they have been using this downtime to plan for their future travels :)
