Hello and welcome to Cabin Boy Minute: Minute 11!
In this week's episode, we discuss fowl sacrifices and matte shots used to create a sea-like atmosphere for Backtown. We ponder whether Cabin Boy joins the ranks of the Wizard of Oz and/or Three Men and a Baby with a notorious apparition in the background. And of course, we get to the meat of our conversation with the Old Salt in the Fishing village where he sates our big comedic appetite through meat advice and general fancy-type jabs. As always, we contrast the film and the contents of the original screenplay, we engage in what could potentially have been done to make this minute more palatable to a general audience, calculate gags per minute and conclude whether the minute was funny or not. Enjoy!
Be sure to pamper yourself again and join us next week for Cabin Boy Minute: Minute 12!
