Turriff United made it four home wins in a row with their first league win over Huntly.

Despite conceding three goals from penalties, United Assistant Manager Brian Thomson felt his side deserved the win.

“I think on overall chances we deserved to win the game and Huntly didn’t look like scoring apart from the penalty kicks. Grant Noble has been biding his time lately and came back with a bang with two well-taken goals but our second half play was far superior to Huntly.”

It was back-to-back defeats for Huntly and Manager Steve Paterson was disappointed with the performance of his players.
