Description

Episode #166 - So four months have passed since you published your blog article, do you see any changes? Maybe your page is still not ranking. If that's the case, you need to optimize it. In this episode, I will explain how to optimize a blog post four months later.

Body:

This is the last of our 3 part series on "How to Optimize a Blog Post After It Goes Live."

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Scan your top competitors and see how the landscape has changed. Did the search intent change? Did competitors change?
  2. Acquire some backlinks. Look in the Surfer "Audit" report and see if you can acquire the same backlinks as your competitors.
  3. Redo all the optimization steps you did before. See if you can update the metadata, add more content, add/remove keywords, etc.
