Description

S3 Ep 47: My sisters keeper talks about the communication during Mercury Retrograde and the recent news of black women that includes college student, Alexis Crawford from Clark Atlanta University being killed by her roommate and boyfriend after she filed sexual harassment charge against her boyfriend. I also shared a tweet from a user who black coworker in her early 30's went to the doctor complaining of chest pains and told to lose weight died a week later from a massive heart attack after having blood clots in her lungs. There have been reports and statics shared that black women aren't diagnosed or treated properly due to the myth that their pain tolerance is higher and black women health isn't a priority.
I express my dismay for the "feminist movement" and "war on drugs" and how that drove black woman into the work field when that's not in our nature and how we have skills that allowed us to produce and trade. I share the importance of black women receiving their education but using that expertise to pour into another black women business.
I also touch on the increased number of black women who are victims of sex trafficking and the importance of being aware and knowing how to protect yourself.
