Volunteer Experience on your Resume: does it count?
I got asked this question by someone on Quora recently: "Why do companies not pay much attention to your volunteer experience?".
This is a great question because everybody talks about how great it is to volunteer - but why is it that most of the time the volunteer experience doesn't really capture anyone's attention?
I'm sharing my thoughts on this in today's segment in how you can continue to give back to the community while at the same time being able to leverage that experience in your Job Search more effectively.
