On this episode of The Roundhouse, Curve broadcaster Garett Mansfield talks with Pirates minor league pitcher Max Kranick. The Pennsylvania native was expected to be part of the Curve rotation in 2020 before the minor league campaign was called off, but he still found his way to Altoona as a member of the Alternate Training Site roster. He opens up about his hard work during quarantine that included building a mound in his backyard, having catchers to work with and using Rapsodo with his brother to fine-tune his new delivery. He also addresses the unique opportunity of being a call away from the Majors this year, a position he may not have been in if not for the circumstances of the 2020 MLB season.
