Jacob, on the run to save his life, rests for the night in a seemingly random place, but it's in this place, with a rock for a pillow, that Jacob encounters God in a profound way. Sometimes we are the ones in a hard place where we need an experience of God. Other times, we get to be the messenger of God to those in hard places. Where do you find yourself?
The Bible talks about many types of spaces and places. There is the ark where Noah and his family went during the flood, there is the tabernacle, then the temple where God’s presence dwelt. There are places like Bethlehem where Jesus was born and Jerusalem where the church started. Then, there is even the space of the entire cosmos that God created, and where humanity lives. We understand that spaces and places exist, but do we believe that everywhere is sacred space and every place can be an opportunity for life change to occur? In this original series, we are going to discover how God can use any place or space to see His power manifested in the lives of others.
