Part of the mystique of Christianity is how at its core it is always open to anyone who will believe. In His own time, Jesus made space for the outcasts, the lowlifes, the unclean and ostracized, the traitors, the second-class citizens. People of all backgrounds knew they could come just as they were and find a friend in Jesus. He in turn invited them to become His disciples and change the world! So come as you are and encounter a life-changing relationship with Jesus!
When we think of a river, we do not envision something that stays in one place. In fact, a river does not stand still - a river flows! In Ezekiel 47, God gives the prophet a vision of what happens when the river of forgiveness, healing, and hope flows out of the church. The Valley Church will be a river church. We will be on a mission. We will be a church in and for the community. This series will serve as the catalyst for how The Valley Church will punch holes in the darkness throughout our region.
