What does paradox have to do with Old Soul Archaeology?
As an Inner Wisdom Facilitator, the very nature of what I do and the tools I use are paradoxical to consensus thinking. I’m going to unpack this a bit in this episode. We'll look at our current predominant mode of thinking, the linear either/or thinking or right/wrong thinking and compare it to a more expanded way of thinking called paradox thinking or Both/And thinking with emphasis on AND!
I'll take a peek into our educational system to see at least in part why our way of thinking is what it is, giving us a point of departure towards change, and I'll showcase literal examples of how either/or thinking gets us into trouble, as well as literary examples of Paradox Thinking for contemplation.
