Located in downtown Modesto California as a working theater since 1934. I have had the pleasure of seeing Jim Jarmusch’s 2016 documentary Gimme Danger about The Stooges. It was there that I got to see the history of this amazing theater and it doesn’t hurt that Modesto California is the hometown of legendary filmmaker George Lucas.
