On today’s episode of Health in the Hole, we have Dr. Parker Hewes, a doctor of chiropractic and our newest addition at JH Backcountry Health. We are talking about Lifelong Youth, that is how to live not just a long life, but a long, happy and vibrant life. Dr. Parker has tons of insight to share (I mean he has written a book on it). This will be part one of the discussion!

Parker is a dynamic chiropractor and life enthusiast. His dream is to help transform Jackson into a Blue Zone of the longest living, healthiest, and happiest people on the planet. He notes that Jackson is already well on its way to this achievement, and is excited to be joining such a wonderful community. In order to stay happy and healthy himself, Parker is a dabbler, a lifelong student, and a goofball. Name any sport, yard game, or outdoor activity, and he’d be ready to play. Got a recommendation for a book, podcast, or blog? He’ll be the first to give it a look. And if you see someone walking barefoot and dancing with no music, it’s probably Parker. Dr. Parker has also written a book called “Lifelong Youth: The Simple Path to a Long and Youthful Life.” He will use this book as an educational tool for patients and community members to support their health journey. We are excited for our community to get to know him and his talent, energy, and beautiful caring spirit.
