Lara is a certified nutrition coach, personal trainer, and yoga instructor who is on a mission to change the world, one woman at a time! While many nutrition programs only give advice about food, Lara aims to help each amazing client transform from the inside out. Lara focuses on improving your mindset, unlearning your past conditioning, and creating productive daily habits so that you can find food freedom and step into your power!

In this episode Lara and I chat about how her definition of what it means to be healthy and fit has changed over the years both personally and professionally for her. Lara explains the difference between a nutrition coach and a Registered Dietitian which was super informative. We also talk about her experience with Crossfit and what she gained by participating in the sport. Lara tells us more about what food freedom means to her and how she helps her clients achieve it. She gives us a rundown of her services and towards the end we talk more about the scholarships she offers for her Nutrition Empowerment Project and why it's important for more wellness professionals to understand the impact that systemic racism plays in their work.
