Description

Join me this week as I chat with stress coach, Madi Snow. Madi is a previous healthcare pro turned stress coach who's committed to empowering people to live WITH their stress by partnering with their brains. She wants more people to thrive in their lives and work in sustainable ways, rather than living in fear of stress and burnout cycles. Currently she works with clients in her 1:1 8-week program to give them the tools and space to create a relationship with stress, work, and life that makes sense for them. She also, since recording this episode, has started The Own Your Stress podcast, so while we don’t talk about it on this episode, be sure to check it out.

We take a deep dive into stress on this one. We start by looking at the difference between positive stress (yes, I did say positive) and negative stress and how stress has changed over the years.

Madi then shares some of the pitfalls of how we traditionally think about and treat stress and offers tangible tips and actions that we can do to own our stress.

Madi also talks about having bipolar disorder and how we can reframe the way we view stress and mental health in general.

We round out the episode by covering burn out – what it is, and what we can do about it.
