There are many studies that indicate a plant-based diet is the best for longevity. If you follow the blue zones, you will find that many of the healthiest people on the planet eat mostly plants, with a sprinkling of meat, dairy and legumes. In our podcast, Jan and I talk about how a plant-based diet helped her recover from the side-effects of cancer therapy. With the help of her husband, she was able to use whole plant foods and supplementation with Juice Plus+  to help her rebuild her immune system.
