Hey everyone it's Nick awesome. Welcome to next gen game theory. So today I want to talk about how you need to get a capture card if you're going to play on a Nintendo Switch. It is one of those things and Nintendo really doesn't talk about however if you want to play Mario Kart, for instance, it's a great idea to get a capture card, and you don't need to spend a lot because Nintendo Switch right now only goes up to 1080p. And because of that, It is a great buy. At this point, when it comes to resolution, because it doesn't require a very expensive capture card. In fact if you go on Amazon, you can buy a fairly cheap one for about 30 bucks. The limitations of a Nintendo switches, they will only allow recordings, up to 30 seconds. This may have something to do with the RAM, and the way, Nintendo does not like to have their content shared. However, there are certain games that you could share such as Mario Kart, for instance, if you play online. Now, this would be an awesome game to share because it shows that you are good at Mario Kart, and then you can brag to your friends that you're actually good at Mario Kart, if you just post every race that you win, like I do on my YouTube page. Next Gen gaming theory. Now it can seem like a tough go to post stuff about Mario. However, it's worth a shot. And worst case scenario, your video might get taken down by Nintendo, but with that being said, at least you got your friends to see yourself playing Mario and winning races. Another option you have when it comes to Mario is you could stream it with a capture card live. This is something that many people may know about, but if you use a capture card it could give you that ability to stream a video of you playing Nintendo Switch. So this is some of the options you have, this is really the only option you have. When it comes to being able to put your videos on YouTube and tick tock when it comes to Nintendo Switch and getting past that 30 second mark. With that being said, just have fun with it. Don't put too much stress on yourself I think Mario Kart is one of those games that you can play for hours on end, so why not record a few videos. You can also upload videos through your Nintendo Switch at 30 seconds at a time. I have found that this process is fairly cumbersome. So just kind of take that into account when you are doing that, because it does take a little bit of time to get those videos off of your device. So with that being said, I hope you all have a great rest of your day. I just wanted to talk about some options that you have for uploading videos using your Nintendo Switch, by using a capture card so you can have longer videos versus those 30 seconds short videos that the Nintendo Switch has been known to have in the system.
