Mass Effect is a trilogy that came out a while back, as many of you guys know and Mass Effect had a profound impact on my life, as it was kind of the kickoff from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. And even my childhood favorite Jade Empire hope that brings some flashbacks for some of you who are listening in today. We really have a phenomenal game here when it came out. And it was one of the launch titles for the Xbox 360. And it really brought next gen into the RPG market. And I can't say enough about this incredibly amazing game, just in general, when you think about everything that Mass effect was able to do just from that standpoint, of the dialogue options, you hadn't seen that on that level. Before that time, also is really cool, how you would have those characters scenes, and you're able to go through those dialogue options. And it really was even better than some of the previous games. And it was original IP by Bioware. And when you see some games come out like this Mass effect was a great game, it did come out. And it had a few bugs on it. Like the combat wasn't really the greatest, it could have been improved, the biotic system was kind of a strange deal. And a lot of people kind of stood went away from that because of some of the issues there. And especially if you're playing on Xbox 360. And the key mappings were kind of off in a way, but overall the game when you come to story, and Commander Shepard and his crew and being on a meet them throughout the galaxy, it really was a phenomenal game. And that aspect really brought everything that we want to see in gaming. Mass Effect is one of those deep RPGs when it comes to innovation, innovation was key during this time, because it was a new new generation of gaming. And it brought to the forefront is the series has aged relatively well in comparison to some series during that time. And I think a lot of it has to do with just that great story that Mass Effect brings the character. And that was really neat concept. Plus, you could travel throughout the universe, explore that universe. And that was what really what really brought that next generation level because you wanted that new expansive system in place of exploring the universe. And when you really see that, from a perspective standpoint, it really brings you to where you want to be, for instance, that that feeling of the unit exploring and, and meeting new new adventures along the way. And throughout that you would fight mega corporations and pirates. And it just had everything in it that you really wanted to have in a space RPG. And it hadn't been done that well previously. Bioware is a company with a big history with their knights, a republic series, they kind of started with this concept of the dialogue options, having that combat system in place through the Star Wars universe, and then going on to Jade Empire and creating an incredible story there. And then finally reaching out to Mass Effect, which was their original IP, as I stated, and when you see a game take on these IPS, it there's a big budget involved, there's a lot of risk and creating your own IP, a lot of people thought that maybe they should have done Star Wars and that would have maybe helped a little bit better in the aspect from a risk management standpoint. But now Bioware went ahead and decided to create their own IP and that gamble definitely paid off as this ended up being a trilogy. Today, I'm just going to talk about that original Mass Effect because of its profound influence. And if you haven't played this game, I really highly recommend this would get a stamp of approval per se. And you definitely need to go out there and play the original Mass Effect. Now there have been some rumors, and in the recent future, is that are they going to make another one? That is a great question. You hear this all the time, especially when it gets around the Mass Effect day.
