Multiplayer online gaming continues to thrive on both the PS five ps4, Xbox, and it is not going to go away. multiplayer online gaming is one of those things that has been around for a fairly long time, with its roots back on the PC. When one looks at the history of online gaming, we see the start. Through setups of lands and people connecting computers. Throughout most of Computer History The goal has been to connect computers. Of course during World War Two they wanted to solve their problems, but then they wanted to start gaming. They wanted to start having fun on these systems with other people. We then see the rise of the Internet and the internet provides the basis for networking and allowing games to continue to improve, to the point where they're at today games have continued to improve. And then we saw what were called LAN parties were a whole bunch of people would get together, they would connect their systems. And they would play together. And over time the online gaming world has expanded from there into the Internet, and then we saw dial up that take off with games that allowed you to play online with people from around the world. Many of us may remember AOL, as one of the main platforms for the internet. If anyone's ever heard the dial up sound. They know if they've heard that sound that sound is not going away for many years in the minds of many people, many people could only game by shutting off their telephone. What a danger that would be today. So as you can see, gaming has changed tremendously. Now you have advanced online platforms that actually stream games, such as Xbox game pass PlayStation now, and many more that are on the horizon made by Amazon and Google. And the future you can expect streaming services to provide more compassionate computer power. And yes, I say compassionate computer power because it takes a lot of computer power to run those games on servers, and those companies are paying a lot to get to that market. I think it'll be a long time before they actually earn anything, but eventually it will take off we're streaming technologies are the difference in the world, and allow those easy access to games that we've all been looking for. You can easily play online with friends because obviously you're online with that server. This will be a direct tie into the server on the online side versus being at home, your information gets sent back to the server. So in theory, it can actually create faster and quicker games online with lower Ping. And the end, it will take a little bit time for the technology to catch up. But streaming technology will be the future of online gaming. This platform will allow people to have subscription services to play with their friends and also allow for people to play on all platforms for a monthly fee. We'll see this kind of develop in the way HBO. Netflix. And the other video services, expect that to be the same for online gaming services. It's a very exciting industry that is developing with online gaming, and we can expect it to continue to evolve and actually reduce the price for people to game through a subscription service. This is a fairly exciting time. When it comes to online gaming.
