God doesn’t want us to forget.
He is a God of love and second chances.
We will turn away from him again and again. We will blame him again and again.
But He is there; an ever loving being of hope and perseverance.
A good example of this is what we just experienced in 2020 called The Great Pause. Most of us call it a Pandemic or Covid or when the world went bat shit crazy!! But if you look at the other perspective there was an incredible PAUSE that happened. Where rivers and oceans could heal. Where the man-made smog didn’t fill the sky and cars were not out polluting the ozone for months on end. In a time when the air was probably the cleanest it’s been in a century, we were forced to wear masks and isolate ourselves. BUT all the while, God was working in ways we cannot even imagine. Even in the devastation, God was there. He is always the silver lining. He is always the hope.
What if this is a second chance? A deutero - a do over. We were saying YES too often, and No not enough. We were building, spinning, creating more more more more, and we lost the point of it all. Love. Acceptance. Taking care of this ONE planet we all get to share?!
