Villains sometimes don't start out as villains. As a matter of fact, a lot of the villains in professional wrestling (or heels, as they're usually called) start out as good guys before they do something so shocking, underhanded and drastic that it alters the course of their characters. They call these moments "heel turns". The moment when a babyface good guy turns his back on those who once cheered him and becomes a villainous heel.
