In the days before World War II, professional wrestling in the United States was broken up into several different promotions based upon their region. These promotions, or territories, were run independently from each other and wrestling as a business became something like The Wild West. Then, in 1948, the heads of these territories decided that there was probably more money to be made if they cooperated with each other and, thus, the National Wrestling Alliance was established. While each territory would continue to run independently and have their own lower championships, the NWA would appoint one wrestler as the overall champion who would stand as the true champion among them all. The NWA championship would hold strong for nearly 40 years before being incorporated into WCW in 1986 and carrying over it's tradition until WCW's demise in 2001. Through those decades, some of the best wrestlers to ever entered a ring held this prestigious belt and on this episode of The Enhancement Talent, we will give you our rankings of those who stand above the fray. This is our Top 10 NWA/WCW Heavyweight Champions of All Time!
