This past fall, the WWE decided to rebrand NXT as NXT 2.0. In doing this, they made a conscious effort to do away with everything about the old black and gold incarnation of NXT, the once beloved third brand of WWE that Triple H transformed from a fledgling developmental territory to the 3rd major, and some would say superior, brand under the WWE corporate umbrella.
