Few people I've met sum up the spirit of adventure and risk taking quite like Avi Kniznik. I've know Avi for many years and seen him tackle adversity and chew challenges with a hunger that is as rare as it is inspiring. Born in Toronto (Canada) into a large family Avi had what could charitably called a 'lively' childhood that, by his own admission, probably gave his loving and supporting parents 'all their grey hairs'.
After being kicked out of school Avi faced one of the first big challenges of his life - what should he do next. The decision Avi made at that age formed the start of a portentous template that would guide him for the rest of his life.
