This week on the Wonderspace Podcast we welcome Prudence Muchinouta. She is the Chief Financial Officer of COMACO, a social enterprise that supports wildlife conservation and 225,000 food-secure farmers in the Luangwa Valley in Zambia. She is also a member of The Rallying Cry, an organization focused on supporting climate- and gender-responsive agriculture enterprises in Africa.
Prudence was nominated by Tamsin Jones (EP 36) who is the Head of Mastery of Business and Empathy at the Small Giants Academy in Melbourne, Australia. These are her words...
"Prudence is an exemplar of hopeful climate leadership. Too often we hear leaders speak aspirationally, Prudence lives climate leadership on a daily basis working across several ecological boundaries at once. Saving species, creating sustainable livelihoods for hundreds of thousands of farmers and their communities and carbon sequestration all while building and managing the operational systems and financial foresight to sustain COMACO into the future. Pru spoke about her work and vision at last years COP to ministers and diplomats around the world as part of The Rallying Cry, which is how we got to know each other.
