Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were recently down and to some it may have felt like the world was ending. In today’s episode we take a walk down social media lane and talk about how it has evolved from the early days of MySpace & Xanga to Instagram & TikTok. While many things have changed, at the end of the day - it's all still very much the same. MySpace's "Top 8" has turned into Instagram's "Close Friends", while adding your location to your AIM profiles has turned into tagging locations in your Instagram stories. We laugh about our first screen names and the emo lyrics we would put in our AIM profiles. Whether we like it or not, social media has even evolved to now include dating apps - which allows us to wrap our episode with the latest Man of the Hour!
