In episode 21, I interview musician Rachael Beck from the band Rachael Plays Guitar that is currently touring. Rachael is an Arizona based singer and songwriter…she recently released an amazing album called Bitter Songs That Sound Sweet Vol. 1. Her musical style has a unique blend of multiple genres such as indie, pop, country, and hip-hop. She is also very skilled at basketball and spent some time directly working in the music industry with other successful artists out in Los Angeles. We had a great conversation about the trials and tribulations of working in the music industry, writing and the creative process, how Rachael has experienced self-growth through working on her music, and so much more. She will be playing support soon for bands such as the Foo Fighters, Shinedown, All American Rejects, and Papa Roach.
