I wanted to ring in the new year like everyone else. Out with friends and family, watching the ball drop. Instead, I was hunched over in bed throwing up and crying because I was in pain and suffering from the cold shakes. COVID isn't a joke and if we don't take it seriously, it will undo everything we ever built.
