In this episode, Darren shares how even it wasn't a surprise, parenting was a shock for him and it took him a while to adjust. Darren also shares innovative and creative ideas to bond with your children and create quality time.
Darren founded Sound Foundations for Learning, Inc. in 1999 where he provided assessment, consultation and services for children with learning challenges such as dyslexia and attention deficit. In addition to his educational experience, he was the chief operating officer of Moyers Learning Systems where teachers from San Diego Unified Schools trained to implement outside the box programs to help children reach their potential.
For 10 years, Darren was a leader in the auditory training field. His unique background in business and education led to the expansion of a global network of 3,000 professionals in 9 countries.
As the founding partner of Sound Foundations for Parenting, Darren is dedicated to finding experts in field of education and sharing their “outside the box strategies” with parents from around the globe. He holds a degree in elementary education from the State University of New York at New Paltz, COO for Learning Ears LLC and enjoys parenting
