National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was interviewed on the TV news network, Al Jazeera America, on December 14, 2013 to discuss the Federal Court's polygamy-positive ruling made the day before in the Brown v. Buhman ("Sister Wives") case. [NOTE: This ruling would be later REVERSED on a "legal standing technicality" by the Tenth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals (2016) and then DECLINED to even be heard by the US Supreme Court (2017).] The day before this interview, a lower Federal District Court had struck down the "cohabits prong" of Utah's 1973 anti-bigamy law, limited the definition of opf that law's "purports prong," and thereby de-criminalized "de facto polygamy" (before being later REVERSED in 2016). This interview explains and discusses that December 13, 2013 lower court ruling.
