National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was interviewed on The Mancow Show, the nationally syndicated show hosted by Erich "Mancow" Muller of Q-101 WKQX in Chicago, Illinois, on March 15, 2006. Days before, the never-done-before premiere of a new polygamy-topic TV series on HBO called, "Big Love," aired. This recording begins with the pre-interview to reveal the difference from how the show was described versus the sophomoric silliness that occurred on the actual show. At one point, Mancow went off into the silliness of shouting "How many wives?" 17 times in a row. Later, one of the side co-hosts proclaimed the hilarious (in its context) line, "I'm not an individual, I'm black!" and then proceeded to interrupt the rest of the interview. The host, Mancow himself, however, said, "I want to talk to the guy." Nevertheless, Mark Henkel's arguments were successfully persuasive. The other silliness notwithstanding, Mancow did say, "I like the idea," and he concluded the interview by saying, "I think in a world where we have so many illegitimate kids and guys with multiple women, polygamy works."
