Some days are just plain lousy and gloomy, just like the weather outside today. But sometimes, lousy does not even begin to cover it. Good Friday was such a day for many people long ago. Calling it "Good" seems almost wrong in some ways. Tonight we revisit that fateful day, when the Son of God gave up everything for the salvation of the world. And while we know today what came just a few days later (and we will celebrate on Sunday), at the time of its occurrence, this event did not feel very "Good" at all.
