Hey Elements. It's Kayla here with Episode 35: Use Your Passion To Change The World. In this episode, I talk about James Baldwin, a playwriter, essayist, novelist, and the voice behind the civil rights movement. Born on August 2, 1924, in Harlem, New York, Baldwin used his crafts and love of writing to express his views on social and racial issues. Going on to write amazing and novels like, "Nobody Knows My Name.", "Go Tell It On The Mountain", "The Fire Next Time", and many more. Just like James Baldwin used his personal experiences to change the world, you can too. You don't have to change the world in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, do it in a way that makes you happy. For instance, doing this podcast makes me really happy (sometimes nervous), so I use my drive, passion, and love for change and put it into my craft. Do what makes you happy, and change the world.
