Melissa Boudreau, grew up in Detroit, MI and is a lover of all things Detroit (&New York) and Michigan. Melissa’s career began as a store manager for the Michigan based, Moosejaw Mountaineering, she left as a Senior Marketing Manager working on the inventive “Moosejaw Madness” marketing campaign. In 2015, Melissa was lured away by another Michigan based company, Emagine Entertainment. In 2017, she launched a protein bar, It Fits bar, after she struggled to find one that met her health needs. As an advocate for women’s health, she uses her free time to increase awareness about endometriosis.
In this interview Danielle and Melissa talk about having endometriosis and the struggles that come with dealing with chronic illness. This episode is all about learning to put YOU first while showing yourself empathy and grace regardless no matter what challenges you are faced with.
