All of the freedoms working people currently experience are a result of organized labor movements of the past. Whether it is an 8 hour work day, a 40 hour work week, increased overtime pay, child labor laws, workers comp, or a minimum wage, all of these things had to be fought for by workers that came before us. On this episode Brian & Lornett discuss some of the key moments in labor history, the importance of unionizing, and the current surge of labor strikes that are happening all over the country.
