We had to most incredible chat with Erica! It was inspiring, relatable and left us feeling like we see the world in a new light!

Here's Erica's Bio - this episode isn't to be missed!!

After spending a career in healthcare communications, I found myself going into the COVID-19 quarantine as a single mom, primary caregiver, and health advocate for my son who is now a brain cancer and stroke survivor after being diagnosed at only 5-months-old. While he was undergoing treatment, I navigated - and ultimately left - the chaos of an abusive marriage all while losing my hair to an autoimmune condition called Alopecia Universalis. My personal healing journey from these traumatic experiences fueled the preservation of self-care and resulted in both the lifetime achievement of completing a full Ironman triathlon and also founding a nonprofit organization, in honor of my son's complex healthcare experience, to sustainably provide access to coloring supplies and art to help families navigate and heal their trauma during inpatient hospitalizations and rehab.
