Ephesians 3:14-21 (NLT)
Roots: Trees don’t exist for roots, but trees need healthy roots to exist. Roots provide foundation, nutrition, connection.
Leaves: Produce nutrients and absorb carbon dioxide for the tree. Leaves provide nutrition, protection, photosynthesis.
Fruit: For our purposes. . .the reason the tree exists. Fruit provides purpose, reproduction, blessings for others.
We have forgotten the reason we are to exist is to produce fruit: purpose, what is fruitful of God should be fruitful of us IF we are abiding in Christ.
