In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
God continues to enter the midst of our chaos and bring order and beauty.
God has created us in his likeness and image, and calls us to enter the chaos in order to continue to reveal his order and beauty.
And into this world, God is still creating. He is still calling. For many of us, this would mean a new beginning. But it really isn’t a new beginning. It is simply entering into the work that God has been doing since the beginning of creation.
