Description

Last week we looked at Jesus feeding 5,000 men. The truth is that it could easily have been 10-20,000. This miracle was told in all four Gospels. The little boy, who brought his lunch, got to be a part of one of the many miracles of Jesus! Andrew, who brought the boy, not sure if that could even be a solution, got to be a part of the miracle too.

When we bring what we have to Jesus, we may see the unprecedented. The outcome was beyond anyone’s guess, but Jesus knew beforehand what He was going to do.

John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

The crowds continue to follow Jesus. They were following Him initially because they saw healings and signs. Note:Don’t be looking for signs. (Matt 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed.) We must just look unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. They wanted ‘to see to believe’.

“Faith that is based on signs alone and not the Truth of God’s Word can lead us astray.” -Warren Wiersbe
