I mentioned a few weeks back about the battleground of the mind. It is on the front lines of where the war is waged. I mentioned last week that satan goes about like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. Don’t be that someone! Don’t be an easy target or isolate yourself to where he can prey upon you. Predators look for the isolated one, the one distracted or away from the safety of the group. Don’t fall victim to him!
As I was praying about what to share this week, I came back to the specific item God provides to us to combat the enemy. It is the Helmet of Salvation. This is vitally important to protect our minds. One of Satan’s most effective weapons against us is discouragement. When we are properly equipped with the helmet of salvation, it’s hard to stay discouraged.
