Description

Last week, we looked at how we should live in this world. We looked at Colossians 3 and how we are to take off things and also to put on love. Many of our troubles we face are not that different from the first century Christians. Today we are continuing to look at how we should live. Paul points out that in the life of the Christian, what we believe helps determine how we behave. Doctrine and duty go together. By our daily lives, we show if we trust God’s word, or not. If we have a right relationship with God, then we will have a right relationship with people, especially those in the family of God.

Romans 12 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice (devoted, consecrated), acceptable to God, which is your (rational, intelligent) spiritual (act) service of worship.
