This past week, many of you know that we had our Mums come for a visit. For anyone that has hosted an event or had family or company visit, there are many things you have to do to prepare for their arrival. We were excited as we began to get everything ready for their visit. I tidied the leaf-blown garden. Sheri made up the beds and we did the shopping for treats our mums would enjoy. We were so excited as we thought of the time we would have with them. As we cleaned, fluffed pillows, and anything else we could think of, our hearts were looking forward to seeing them. Jesus, our Saviour has been preparing a place for us for more than 2,000 years! He said I go to prepare a place for you, and where I am, you will be! Imagine the excitement as He looks forward to our arrival!
People around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus. Many decorate their houses and trees as we see the preparation being made for the arrival of not only an important guest, but THE most important arrival in all history! We're looking at Matthew chapter 3 today. May this message encourage and challenge you to prepare to make room for the Saviour!
