We have been looking at some things I’ve dubbed ‘beautiful exchanges’ that are found throughout the Bible. Last week we looked at how God gives us life for death. Today we are looking at how God gives us hope for our utter hopelessness. We all can be overcome by feelings of hopelessness at times. Moving into a place of hope is vital.
Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.
Hebrews 6:19 [Now] we have this [hope] as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it—a hope] that reaches farther and enters into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil,
