When millionaires were asked years ago, how much money is enough? You want to guess their answer? A little bit more. Some were bold enough to say much more. Some people long for and desire more than enough. Forrest Gump knew you only needed so much money to live on, the rest was just for showing off. One of the 10 Commandments is Thou shalt not covet. Coveting is dangerous as it is a greedy desire to have more. We all are in danger of covetousness, and we must protect ourselves from it. We are told in Scripture to guard our heart. Jesus is telling us that a man’s life is not in what we own or from our possessions. Some of the wealthiest people are the most miserable people. Like Ebenezer Scrooge, they don’t have any enjoyment out of life.
