After a much-needed reprieve, we return to the world of game-to-film adaptations with Neil Blomkamp's Gran Turismo. Based on the true story of gamer-turned-racer Jann Mardenborough, it's a fine enough retelling of a dream come true, and a decent little racing movie with just enough action and beauty to carry it through the more dull moments and puddle-deep character work.
