Yesterday Statistics South Africa announced the fourth quarter of 2021's gross domestic product figures. The economy grew by 1.2% in the fourth quarter and by 4.9% for the year as a whole. Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine may prove to be a setback for the recovery of the South African economy.
