There are many opinions this week on the Budget Speech but one that I would like to highlight is a piece written by Hillary Joffe for Business Day. There is talk of a “good news” budget with the R200 billion tax windfall that relieves some of the pressure on the Minister. But Joffe's article gives an important history lesson and takes one back to the 2007 Budget.
